Simulation of a Water machine in Houdini

Render Water Simulation
Made in Houdini and Maya
Last March, I had the privilege of collaborating with a company specializing in the manufacture of water machines for the agricultural sector on an exciting 3D visualization project. These innovative machines are designed to purify and recycle water through various integrated systems.

The need to effectively communicate the operation of these machines to customers prompted the creation of an explanatory video. The goal was to provide a clear visual representation of the different processes the water undergoes as it moves through the machinery, from its initial state to its final destination.

The water followed three distinct paths: reactivation, photocatalysis and purge. To achieve an accurate and convincing representation of these processes, three unique simulations of the water flow were created. I used the "flips" fluid simulation tool in Houdini to develop these representations with a high level of detail and realism.
Once the simulations were completed, the next step was to take them to render. For this, Maya software was used.

The end result was a powerful and educational video that allowed customers to clearly understand the inner workings of the water machines, as well as the importance of the different processes that the water undergoes during its treatment. This project not only met the company's requirements, but also set a high standard in terms of visual communication in the agricultural industry.
